Foresight analysis of the competitiveness of importing hydrogen and its derivatives

This report provides a comparative analysis of the costs of importing hydrogen and its derivatives into France and the costs of producing them in France over two time horizons: 2030 and 2050. The first section details the scope and the main assumptions on which these estimates are based. The results are then presented and discussed for the two time horizons of 2030 and 2050.

While the proposed work provides orders of magnitude and an understanding of the structure of the costs of producing and transporting hydrogen and its derivatives, it should be noted that there are many uncertainties surrounding the assumptions and therefore the results.
