Priority Action Zones for Air (ZAPA) - Summary of the feasibility
Présentation
At the end of 2010, ADEME signed agreements with eight French local authorities entrusting them with the task of studying the feasibility of setting up a Priority Action Zone for Air (ZAPA) in their territory (French equivalent of the 'Low Emission Zones' in Europe, that is to say a system making it possible to prohibit or restrict the most polluting vehicles within a given perimeter with a view to reducing road traffic-related atmospheric pollution). Of these eight local authorities, seven completed their ZAPA feasibility study. This document presents the main results.
