ADEME International Newsletter N° 62
ADEME, a major international role in adaptation to climate change
Présentation
Measures taken today against climate change won't be enough to keep the rise in temperatures under 2°C. Hence the need to adapt to this new scenario. Because France is aware that the issue is global, and because it was one of the first countries to adopt a national climate change adaptation strategy, France has developed an expertise in the subject, as well as a certain number of tools that, like the ACT Adaptation tool for example, are one of a kind and internationally renowned.
In this edition:
EDITORIAL / “Adaptation to climate change has become our global challenge for the coming years” Philippe Masset, Europe and International Director at ADEME;
FOCUS / Adapting to climate change: French expertise is internationally renowned;
EXPERTISE / With ACT Adaptation, ADEME is helping businesses adapt to climate change;
WORLDWIDE / The GlobalABC, for the ecological transition of the construction sector.
