From approaches and tools to necessary funding for sustainability, ADEME is developing and overseeing French and European projects detailed in this letter. As the operator of the Sustainable Tourism Fund, set up as part of the French economic recovery plan "France Relance", ADEME is working in close collaboration with community groups. The aim is to highlight the European ecolabel and showcase its expertise in terms of the circular economy and climate issues in order to reach the much-wanted objectives of sustainability in the sector. The solutions that are enjoying ADEME's support exhibit good practice that our foreign partners seek to share. In this edition:
- EDITORIAL / "European, Mediterranean and African cooperation initiatives increasingly include a sustainable tourism angle" Philippe Masset, Europe and International Director at ADEME;
- FOCUS / A European label for sustainable tourism;
- EXPERTISE / France's efforts to develop sustainable tourism for everyone;
- WORLDWIDE / Greening tourism in the Mediterranean.
