Reuse is one of the key levers in the packaging ecological transition, helping to reduce waste and, in some sectors, to reduce environmental impact.

This document summarises the findings of two studies carried out in recent years by ADEME on packaging reuse:

The results of this work highlight the relevance of the solutions currently being developed. Industrial transformations should be initiated rapidly in sectors where the development of packaging reuse has strong potential to accelerate deployment and achieve larger-scale adoption.
