En savoir plus
The study focuses on a completely new system never introduced anywhere in the world that had been in force for less than a year when the interviews, focus groups and surveys used for it were conducted. It uses feedback from a wide range of stakeholders: retailers, manufacturers, associations and NGOs, repairers and spare parts sellers, as well as professional federations and consumers. Most of the professional stakeholders interviewed were involved in developing the index (and are still involved in extending it to cover other appliances). This enables feedback about all the various implementation stages. Based on feedback from the stakeholders, overall the scheme is a success. It has won the support of professionals and is already well known among consumers. Suggestions for improvements have been made and these will bolster the index and subsequent schemes.
