En savoir plus

The objective of the ACOPEM project is to develop a new measurement system to determine the PM2.5 and PM10 mass fractions in gaseous effluents resulting from the combustion of biomass. This device will consist of two measuring systems:

  • An optical granulometer capable of determining the size and the number of particles,
  • A system for measuring the total mass concentration of the particles.
The combination of these two measuring systems must give access, on the one hand, to the measurement of total dust in accordance with EN 15267-3 and EN 14181 in a range of 0 - 15 mg / m3 and with a detection limit of 0.05 mg / m3, and secondly to PM2.5 and PM10 mass fractions with the same detection limits (0.05 mg / m3).
